deadshotkeen Brilliant stuff. Essentially laconic singer/songwriter indie rock in the style of The Mountain Goats or Sun Kil Moon but with a dissonant MBV-style guitar undercurrent. Melancholic and reflective but without being overly bleak or downbeat. Mostly moves at its own gentle pace but the occasional bite of a Buffalo Tom hook or a jerky Sebadoh refrain stops by on occasion. A great listen for anyone with even a passing interest in US alt.rock. Favorite track: magic coffin ride.
